Construction Team

Sam has worked in Commercial Construction and Development for over twenty‐five years. He also has an extensive background in design, engineering, reserves, property management, sustainability, construction litigation and organizational operations.

Sam has assisted and served on several Homeowner Association Boards and is a Certified Manager of Community Associations CMCA, Reserve Specialist RS and Association Management Specialist AMS. He has given several industry presentations for the American Resort Development Association ARDA throughout the years.

Sam most recently worked for Wyndham Worldwide for nearly 20 years as Vice President for Strategic Development. This included oversight of construction, development, and design both nationally and internationally in five different countries. Sam also oversaw the Insurance Claims Team as well as Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Sam served 14 years in the US Army. He and his wife Brooke just celebrated their 26‐year anniversary. During his “free time”, you can find him boating, hiking, coaching football, helping coordinate food and clothing drives, and cheering his kids from the sidelines in their many sport activities.

Jaysen joined DevCo US Construction in January 2023 as a Construction Project Manager based in Austin, Texas and currently serves as the Director of Construction for the DevCo Construction Central Region. With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, he leads a team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and Assistant Superintendents to successfully deliver multifamily development projects. Jaysen is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment, ensuring all team members have the resources and support needed to excel.

Before joining DevCo, Jaysen held various project management roles on both the owner and general contractor sides, primarily focusing on multifamily projects, with additional experience in residential, commercial, and healthcare developments. His diverse background has shaped a solution-oriented approach, emphasizing critical thinking, teamwork, and progress. Jaysen is passionate about uniting team members to leverage their unique strengths, delivering exceptional projects that exceed expectations.

Outside of work, Jaysen is an avid runner and enjoys golfing, biking, swimming, and experiencing Austin’s vibrant live music scene. He also is a pet owner to 3 dogs who he loves spending time outdoors with.

Andrew Johnson joined Devco US Construction in November 2024 as the Regional Director of Construction for the West Region. He now also oversees construction operations in the East Region.

Before joining Devco, Andrew served as a Project Executive for a national multifamily developer. He brings over 13 years of industry experience in multifamily, mixed-use, and public-sector development. Over the course of his career, he has successfully delivered a range of high-profile projects including high-rise residential, affordable housing, and large-scale multifamily developments in Colorado and California.

Andrew leads teams across multiple states, overseeing project delivery from planning through execution to support the creation of long-term affordable housing, while ensuring alignment with Devco’s core values of teamwork, commitment, quality, and integrity.

He holds a B.S. in Construction Management from Colorado State University and is a certified Associate Constructor (AC) and LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C).

A Colorado native, Andrew enjoys sporting clays, hiking, and supporting the CSU Rams. He lives in Windsor with his wife, two children, and two dogs, and values time spent outdoors and with family.

Joe joined DevCo US Construction in September of 2022, initially as a Construction Project Manager before transitioning full-time to operations. Joe’s primary responsibilities include development and refinement of processes and policies, collaboration with senior leaders to ensure operational alignment, direct oversight of contract administration and procurement departments, and management of company strategies and goals.

Before joining DevCo, Joe worked as a Project Manager in various construction markets, focusing primarily on hospitality and multi-family construction and renovations, solar and fuel station canopy manufacturing and fabrication, and residential and commercial tenant improvements.  He is passionate about process improvement and is continually looking for innovative solutions to challenging problems.

Joe graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies.

Outside of work, Joe can most often be found spending time with friends and his son Alex, reading, and watching Cougar or Seahawks football games.

Ronen joined DevCo US Construction in October 2022 with nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Ronen oversees a multitude of projects and their teams with a common goal of providing the best quality housing and living experience for everyone. He brings hands-on construction experience along with his MBA in Construction Management from the University of Washington (GO HUSKIES!). Safety, efficiency, and the environment are always at the forefront of Ronen’s project management practices.

In his spare time, Ronen can always be found doing some exciting activity with his beautiful family. Exploring off-trail or hunting gems at the top of a mountain is not at all unusual. He also dedicates himself to his community by volunteering. Ronen is also a promoter of construction excellence and is a member of ICC as well as the local PMI chapter. He also maintains a multitude of construction-related certifications.

Tom joined DevCo in February 2024, bringing over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Throughout his career, he has successfully led a wide range of projects with a consistent focus on delivering high-quality housing and exceptional living environments.

With a background as a Senior Superintendent, Project Manager, and Estimating Manager, Tom offers invaluable hands-on knowledge of all phases of construction. His expertise has been especially important as DevCo expands into new regions across the country.

Tom has a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects from land development and infrastructure to project closeout. His portfolio includes work in sustainable construction, historic renovation, office buildings, mixed-use developments, multi-family housing, civil improvements, affordable housing, high-end custom homes, and government projects. He is well-versed in structural concrete, wood framing, and steel construction systems.

Known for delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards, Tom emphasizes safety and customer satisfaction at every stage. He holds multiple construction-related certifications and is a dedicated advocate for excellence in the industry.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and 3 dogs, exploring off-trail adventures, camping with friends, and traveling. He is also active in his community, volunteering at local schools and supporting educational initiatives.
